Should You Consider a New School?
New schools have advantages. They tend to have modern facilities, smaller initial class sizes, and are keen to build a reputation. Some offer introductory fee discounts to attract early families.
The downside is uncertainty. A school without a KHDA inspection has no independent quality benchmark. You are trusting the operator's track record and the leadership team's credentials. If the school is part of a group like GEMS, Taaleem, or Innoventures, the group's reputation provides some assurance.
Our advice: visit the school, meet the principal, and ask pointed questions about teacher retention, class size plans, and their KHDA preparation timeline.
